At the moment, we welcome exhibition proposals for 2D artworks.

Exhibition Terms & Conditions
1. Exhibition Fee
The cost for hosting a Solo Exhibition at Kalaveshi Arts is $200 per week, totaling $600 for a standard three-week exhibition.
A non‑refundable $50 application fee is due at the time of submitting your application online.
Upon acceptance, the remaining exhibition balance is due three (3) weeks prior to the opening date.
For example: If your show opens on February 6th, 2026, full payment must be made by January 16th, 2026.
Accepted payment methods include:
• Credit Card, Check or cash (in person)
• Venmo or PayPal (if unable to meet in person)
2. Gallery Responsibilities
Kalaveshi Arts will provide the following:
• Professionally designed exhibition poster
• Promotion via our gallery email list, social media platforms, and printed posters distributed throughout area
• Assistance with installation and de-installation of the exhibition
• Support with preparing the opening night reception
• Optional catering for the opening reception for an additional fee of $300
Promotion for the exhibition three weeks prior to the opening dates. Promotional poster design begins immediately after acceptance and confirmation of the exhibition details, and will be shown to the artist(s) for approval prior to distribution.
3. Artist Responsibilities
The exhibiting artist(s) agrees to:
• Promote the exhibition through personal social media, mailing lists, friends, and family
• Assist with distributing printed posters throughout the area
• Participate in installation and removal of their show as needed
• Provide high‑quality images of their work and exhibition information promptly for marketing purposes – if you’re unable to take good photos of the artwork, let us know, and we will assist
4. Exhibition Schedule
• Exhibition opens on Friday evenings
• Each exhibition runs for three weeks/four weekends. For example: If your show opens on Friday, February 6th, 2026, it closes on Sunday, March 1st, 2026
• De-installation takes place on the following Monday. All artwork MUST be picked up then, as the gallery must start preparation for the next show.
• If artwork is not picked up on the designated Monday, it will be moved into the studio. Due to very limited space, a storage fee of $20 per day will be applied for each day the work remains uncollected. Please adhere to this requirement to avoid additional charges.
5. Opening Reception
• The gallery will assist with setting up the opening night reception
• Optional catering is available for an additional $300
• Artists may also choose to bring their own refreshments
6. Artwork Delivery & Pickup
• All artwork must arrive ready to hang or display. Paintings MUST be wired in the back - no sawtooth hangers
• The artist is responsible for transporting artwork to and from the gallery
• Artwork must be picked up on the designated Monday after the exhibition’s conclusion
7. Sales & Commission
Kalaveshi Arts retains a 30% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibition. This commission covers promotional cost, payment processing fees, administrative time, and transaction handling. The remaining 70% is paid to the Artist(s) within a week of the show closing.
8. Liability
Kalaveshi Arts will take all reasonable precautions to safeguard the artwork during the exhibition. However, the gallery does not provide insurance coverage of any kind. Artists are responsible for securing their own insurance to cover theft, loss, or damage.
While the gallery strives to ensure that no damage occurs, Kalaveshi Arts is not responsible or liable for any damage, loss, or theft that may arise while the artwork is on the premises, during installation, during de-installation, or during any gallery-organized programming. By participating, artists acknowledge and accept full responsibility for insuring their work.
